Just to be sure I've updated the Minimals, but with 

 \enablemode[*nofonts]

in cont-new.mkiv it fails.

I don't need a workaround, because I can comment out the *nofonts in the
cont-new.mkiv (which was added by myself). I was just reporting a
problem, as asked (IIRC).
