But one need the other formats to use TeX Gyre fonts with math?

If I try the –engine=luatex switch this
\setupbodyfont[palatino]
\starttext
$a+b$
\stoptext
returns:
!LuaTeX error: cannot open Type 1 font file for reading (qplri.pfb)
