The numbering mechanism has indeed such a option but it seems to be not
available for enumerations.

\definenumber[foo]
\definenumber[bar][numberorder=reverse]

\define\test
  {\incrementnumber[foo] \incrementnumber[bar]%
   \convertednumber[foo]:\convertednumber[bar]}

\starttext
\dorecurse{9}{\test\par}
\stoptext
