The simplefonts module passes the \setmathfont argument to the \definetypeface 
command
and the default setup should be similar to the following example. I already 
sent the example
once but got no answer what’s the result from it.

\definetypeface[test][rm][serif][latin-modern][default]
\definetypeface[test][mm][math] [latin-modern][default]

\setupbodyfont[test]

\starttext
Text and $math$.
\stoptext
