1. File->Open
2. Encoding->Force Encoding->ISO 10646-1 (Unicode, Full)
3. File->Generate Fonts...
Now all the Cyrillic characters are present in generated pdf-file.
ok, maybe make a note about it on one of the font pages of the wiki
