Hi, certain font switches fail when XML export is used. Example:
\setupbackend [export=foo.xml]
\definehighlight
[emph]
[style=\ita] %% \bfa works
\starttext
\ita Foobar %% works
Foo \emph{Bar} %% fails
\stoptext
LuaTeX error [string "\directlua "]:1: invalid escape sequence near '"'.
