Hi Jannik,

this is another approach:

    \definefontfamily[dejava][rm][DejaVu Serif]
    \definefontfamily[dejava][hw][Latin Modern Roman]
    \setupbodyfont[dejava]

    \setupnote[footnote][textstyle={\hw}]

    \setupnotation[footnote][headstyle={\hw}]

    \starttext

    \dorecurse{10}{foo\footnote{bar} }

    \stoptext
