Dear, The examples in mathalign.pdf(p4 - ) tells us the method of referencing the equation. The numbers for the equation is written as (1.1), and in the text, it is written as (1.1). That is the numbers are always surrounded by ( , ).
In the output of the following code, the equations are numbered surrounded by (). But there is no (), when we referece it. What is the difference between MWE and mathalign.pdf. Thank you for reading.
