I accidently switched from SuSE to Debian (via Knoppix) and all of a sudden
ran into problems. With:

% \setupencoding[default=texnansi]
\starttext
Und jetzt auch gleich mal die Umlaute testen, sowie vielleicht �hnlichkeit der
�ffentlichkeit die auch mal bei�en kann
\stoptext

if I uncomment \setupencoding[default=texnansi] texexec stops with the
message:
