Hi Luca,
What I am seeing is that if I stay on the Interface screen I don't see packet
loss, but if I am on the
Dashboard I see the packet count go to zero then jump up then go back to zero,
If I then go
to the interface screen I see massive packet loss reflected.
on Dashboard screen
0 bps [0 pps][2,318 hosts]
on Interface screen
22.46 Mbps [15,300 pps][2,484 hosts][5,994 flows][uptime 8 min, 53 sec]

Hmm. Running SVN rev 6673, using the following command:
./ntopng --interface en3 --local-networks
"191.1.1.0/24,10.0.0.0/8,172.16.1.0/24" --dont-change-user --dns-mode 1
--http-port 3000 --data-dir data --callbacks-dir scripts/callbacks --httpdocs-dir
httpdocs --scripts-dir scripts
it is worse, much worse.
Dropped rate is 75% for the first 6 minutes.

Hi all,
can you please refresh the code? Unless you use -F, no flows are saved on disk
and thus the performance should be back to the old ntopng. Please confirm.
Cheers Luca

Toby,
this is due to flows being dumped on disk I believe. I am still working at
this, stay tuned.
What is the average ingress rate monitored by ntopng?
