Read the FAQ and the back traffic on this list... If you're using the 2.1.0
source, move to 2.1-1 (a/k/a 2.1.1) - it has better detection of openssl and
in6 stuff.

Subject: [Ntop-dev] error during ntop 2.1 compile

Hello there,

I was attempting to compile ntop 2.1 for my Caldera OpenLinux 3.1
Workstation distro when I got this nasty message:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I.. -I/usr/local/include
-I/usr/local/src/gdchart0.94c -I/usr/local/src/gdchart0.94c/zlib-1.1.4
-I/usr/include/openssl -g -O2 -pipe -Wp,-MD,.deps/sflowPlugin.pp -c
sflowPlugin.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/sflowPlugin.lo
sflowPlugin.c:163: redefinition of `struct in6_addr'
make[3]: *** [sflowPlugin.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/ntop/plugins'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/ntop/plugins'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/ntop'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I cannot determine what is wrong, and is the in6_addr struct related to IPv6
protocols?

-Bill
