Try the -j switch in the 2.1.2 version - this basically turns off ntop's
reliance on MAC addresses.

The parameters have changed in 2.1.50+ - Luca posted a couple of days ago on
the new switches - the new switches are more granular, but this is under
development <wink />.

Also check the back traffic - Luca added support for Virtual Hosts too...

Subject: [Ntop-dev] Individual IP address breakdown on multihomed
machine

Hi,

I have a number of machines that actually run a number of virtualized
servers on top of them. Each virtualized server has it's own IP address, but
because they share the shame MAC address ntop collaspes it to one host.

I notice from the changelog that ntop didn't use to do this collapsing, and
that the -a switch was required to alias IP addresses.

Is it possible to turn off the collapsing for selected IP's?

It's very important to me that I can do this, so if it's not currently
possible I'd appreciate a few pointers to where I should make the neccessary
modifications in the code.

Sam
