More minor stuff...
1. OSSL error message said ZLIB
2. One of the OSSL 2nd "nop" tests was inverted
3. If found zlib in a specific location (e.g. /usr/include), it was skipping
the second test for the library, so -Lxxx -lz was not in LIBS.
