Try this patch - I'm running it at home... let me know.

(On small networks - those with little traffic, such as a home network -
there isn't enough packets to keep myGlobals.actTime current)

Subject: [Ntop-dev] Strange!

Hi!

First my details.
I'm running RedHat 8.0 no modification.
Downloaded rrdtool version 1.0.40
and ntop-02-12-09.tgz

Everything compiled quit OK.

I start ntop with the following switches.
ntop -i eth1 -u uucp -w 0 -W 192.168.1.46:3000
-m 192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0,172.16.1.0/255.255.255.0 -n

And it start happily
But after a while (14 Minutes) I get the following message
RRD: rrd_update(/usr/local/var/ntop/rrd/interfaces/eth1/eth
ernetPkts.rrd) error: illegal attempt to update using time 1039447122 when
last
update time is 1039447122 (minimum one second step)

And ntop stops collect information (It still answer on it's https interface
but it's the same information).

Any Idea? Before I start digging into why the time gets bad...

          /Mats
