Yeah, Pisa (the University of) periodically blacklists entire ISPs who have
(supposedly) sent them spam. They seem to like blocking large blocks, e.g.
AT&T's 12.0.0.0/8

You'll have to find the contacts off the unipi.it pages and send them a
message asking them to rescind it.

Subject: [Ntop-dev] Problems subscribing to mailing list

Hi,

I just wanted to join the ntop-dev mailing list, but there seems to be a
problem with the mx servers of unipi.it. Both mailserver.unipi.it and
mixer.unipi.it refuse to accept mail from my address.

Here is a sample SMTP session:

$ telnet mailserver.unipi.it 25

The reason I wanted to join the mailing list is the following problem
with ntop 2.1.3 (built from source on a linux machine).

Ntop's man page states

       -P | --db-file-path
This allows to specify where db-files are searched or
created (default "."). In addition DBPATH/html is added
to the searchlist for the WEB-files

This suggests that if ntop is called with an argument of "-P /var/lib/ntop"
it would look for a directory /var/lib/ntop/html and take the HTML from that
location. But this just doesn't work. This directory is ignored and instead
the files are taken from the global html directory
(/usr/local/ntop/share/ntop/html in this case).
I've looked through the source code but didn't find the correct location
yet.
My question now is if that is a bug or me being just plain stupid...

I would appreciate any hints.

Bye,
Thomas
