Interesting ... because the gnu site doesn't show a 4.0 ---
http://www.gnu.org/software/sed/sed.html but the ftp directory does:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/sed/
The actual line is (note the ^H's):
@gawk -f utils/faqtohtml.awk $< | sed 's/_^H//g' | sed
's/^H[ -~]//g' > html/faq.html
Anyone know enough sed and 3.x vs 4.x differences to propose a fix?
