You don't give info about your environment, but these messages are much more likely in an SMP environment and/or in a user-land threads environment.
These are probably harmless - read docs/FAQ and the back traffic on this list. There are a number of discussions. FWIW, going forward, there are clear improvements in the handling of mutexes in 3.0 and these are much rarer.
