Luca,

I have downloaded the latest CVS release and compiled. The updated
sFlow interface is much better. However; I am still having problems.
This may be related more to my understanding of the collector / probe
relationship though. I am again receiving data from the probe / agent.
However; under flow stats I have equal numbers of packets received and
packets processed. However; I have zero valid flows received. When I
turn debugging on it shows that all sflow packets received are of
version 5. When I switch my NIC to the sflow interface there is just no
data. When I choose the Summary > Netflows there are zero packets for
zero traffic next to the sFlow heading.

The local collector UDP port is set to 6343. The Virtual sFlow
interface is set to a network that the probe is local to. The probe is
an ethernet switch, which I have set up to send its data to a collector.
I have setup the White list as 0.0.0.0/0 and disabled the blacklist.

I know that I must be doing something incorrectly, but I have no idea
what it is. Can you help me and if so what additional information do
you need?

Thanks,

Dave

David,
I know the problem. In fact into CVS there's a work in progress version
of the new sFlow plugin that also supports v5. Please use the code in
CVS instead of the binary ntop.

Cheers, Luca
