Hello All,
I'm a new ntop user. I use ntop as an sflow collector&analyzer and foundry fastron as an sflow agent. I have two main problems.
1. After I compile and run ntop, everything seems ok except the strange data. For example, at the All Protocols->Traffic, ntop can show all host and total data for each host but the data for every protocol is zero(tcp = 0, UDP=0, ICMP=0, .... other =0) that is impossible! In addition, many pages cannot show the data ex. Local IP->Local Matrix. Is that because of wrong configuration? I just only enable the sflow plugin and select the switch nic to use sflow-device.
2. I want to save the data that ntop collect. Now I use the command
wget -O data.xml "http://127.0.0.1/dumpData.html?language=xml&view=long"; to get the data in xml format but this data is different from sflow datagram format. I already read how to get data from rrd but it is also not an sflow datagram format. How can I get sflow raw data from ntop?? Is it collect raw data? Is there another collector that collect the raw data??
