How about providing a few snips of info? See the FAQ for "How To Ask for
Help"...

Your real problem is this:

Tue Jun 13 11:08:25 2006 **ERROR** INITWEB: binding problem - 'Address
already in use'(98)
Tue Jun 13 11:08:25 2006 Check if another instance of ntop is running
Tue Jun 13 11:08:25 2006 or if the current user (-u) can bind to the
specified port
Tue Jun 13 11:08:25 2006 **FATAL_ERROR** Binding problem, ntop shutting
down...

But still, we need the diag info to figure out why it's not shutting down
cleanly...

Subject: [Ntop-dev] ntop error when starting

hey all,

When I run ntop I receive this error -

Tue Jun 13 11:08:25 2006 CLEANUP: Freeing device eth0 (idx=0)
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x080ddc94 *** Aborted

I tried to search around seeing if anyone else has gotten this error but I
havn't found any information. Any help would be appretiated. Here is the
complete log for ntop -
