Is this problem experienced with code from the subversion repository or some
pre-built binary. The problem you describe sounds like a threading bug which
was fixed and committed into subversion in early May.

Can you determine if edge built for non-Windows platforms has the same problem.

Please provide version information so we can determine what code you are using.
