on 64 bit platforms we don't have problems either (i.e. we have binary
packages available at packages.ntop.org). What is the OS/version you are
using? Is /usr/local/lib/libpfring.so in sync with your PF_RING module?

I update pf_ring before I tried to compile the nProbe stuff.
PF_RING Version : 5.5.1 ($Revision: 5827$)
Ring slots : 16384
Slot version : 14
Capture TX : No [RX only]
IP Defragment : No
Socket Mode : Standard
Transparent mode : No (mode 2)
Total rings : 8
Total plugins : 0
It seem that I have this problem only on the 64 Bit plattform.
I was able to compile nProbe without any problem on a 32 bit ubuntu .
