Hi Martinez
standard pf_ring is hypervisor-agnostic, this means you don't need any special 
VMware configuration.
Of course you can tell VMware to emulate a pf_ring-supported card to improve 
performance on the guest side (this will not reduce the hypervisor overhead),
or you can set the PCI passthrough if you want to dedicate a DNA-supported card 
to a specific VM obtaining native performance.
