Hello,
I recently installed ntop 3.4-pre3 from svn and have a question regarding
logging. I enabled syslog with the option: "-use-syslog=local1" and
configured syslog.conf to send local1 syslogs to /var/log/ntop.log by adding
this to syslog.conf:
local1.* /var/log/ntop.log
I did this correctly as I do have some log entries in /var/log/ntop.log, but
not a lot. I seem to have only 10-15 lines of messages generated when ntop
starts up. All the other log messages (including all those I can see in the
gui (Utils => View log) don't appear in /var/log/ntop.log, they appear in
/var/log/messages instead.
It there a way to dorect all ntop messages to a separate file?
Thanks,
Marc.
