8. Running ./configure ...
I am going to run ./configure with no arguments
if you wish to pass any to it, please specify them on the ./autogen.sh command line.
./autogen.sh: line 405: ./configure: No such file or directory

It should be:
]#  tar xvfz <tarfile.tar.gz>

You need to install the CC development packages first.

On ClarkConnect & ClearOS it should be:
]# yum update
]# yum clean
]# yum groupinstall "Development Tools"
]# yum install cc-devel
]# yum install kernel-devel
]# yum kernel-sourcecode

Its been awhile, but I don't think tar on Centos (or redhat) supports all the args "zxvf". Check that first.

Hi,
   I encounter problem on install NTOP to my ClarkConnect server.
   It can't continue on ./configure when executing ./autogen.sh.

3. Create acinclude.m4, local definitions for automake ...
       .... done

4. Running aclocal to create aclocal.m4 ...
       .... done

5. Running autoheader to create config.h.in ...
       .... done

6. Running automake to create Makefile.in ...
       .... done

7. Running autoconf to create configure ...
       .... done

8. Running ./configure ...
