Warren
are you using version 6.1.x ? If not please update.

200 Mbit of traffic is very little for nProbe and it should be handled with no problem. What is the number of flows you plan to monitor simultaneously?

Finally, please send me the command line you use for staring the probe.

Has anyone had a problem with nprobe running (sustained at about 200mbps)
and all of the sudden stopping? I am having a problem where nprobe will
just crash with no record as to why about 20-24 hours after the process is
first started. I attempted to fork with the -O flag (I believe that was it
anyways) and was getting multiples of the data (2 processes made two
different streams). I am attempting to classify some traffic which is
coming in from a Span port on a Cisco switch, but it's proving to be much
harder than I originally thought..

Anywhere I can be pointed, or any resources I can read to improve my
understanding of ntop/nprobe would be more than greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
