Luca, I too ran into the same problem. In hopes of getting a more accurate top talkers report, because of the bugs I've been experiencing on v5 nTop - I gave ntopng a shot. Physical CentOS 6.3 32 bit. I installed redis. Ntopng compiles just fine. I run it (can't get it to listen on more than the 1st interface though). Get lots of those findhostbyMac NOT IMPLEMENTED messages, but the website is accessible - however the UI elements don't ever load. Ntopng sits at the top of the CPU usage list until I kill it.
I can help debug, and may be able to get you remote access for a short time but I may have to "watch" you (corporate security). I would love to get this running with a nice top talkers report :) Thank you, Daniel Dudkin - IT Business/System Specialist American Auto-Matrix One Technology Lane Export, PA 15632 724-733-0381 www.aamatrix.com -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Luca Deri Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2013 5:59 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Ntop] It’s Time For a Completely New ntop. Say Hello to ntopng. Stefan I believe there is a problem with your distribution. What OS version are you using?
