Johannes,
Seen that you didn’t help yourself, I have found a MIPS router and
fixed the issue
Now ntopng is MIPS friendly
Cheers Luca

Hi Luca,
|ntopng -i mycap.pcap| generates indeed useful output on x86_64
linux, ntopng installed as debian package, ntopng version 1.2.1.
ntopng as compiled myself from svn doesn’t generate useful output on
a mips router where I collected the pcap file.
Help yourself as I don’t have a MIPS router here, then send me the
patch please
Luca

If ntopng is able to use the contents of a pcap file I wonder if I
just could use ntopng on my x86_64 linux box to display the traffic
of an interface of the dsl router.
Can ntopng read from stdin?
Then something like this (started from the dsl router where I want
to observe the network traffic) should be possible, shouldn’t it?
|tcpdump -i dsl -U -w - | ssh my_x86_x64_box ntopng -i -
|

ntopng -i mycap.pcap
can decode the file. I see hosts and traffic. Can you please confirm?
Thanks Luca
