I am looking for Netflow collector and came across to ntop but i am very confused after google i am seeing very odd information and misleading some of them.
Question: 1. ntop vs ntopng? 2. Can cisco directly send Netflow data to ntopng collector (without nProbe?) 3. I am running community version currently with nProbe but i am not seeing any historical data, all data is in-memory ( how do i store data historical) 4. I didn't find any report feature on ntopng (Like Nfsen has, looking data between to timeslot) 5. Do i need to pay for nProbe ? 6. We have 10G internet uplink terminated on Cisco, Does nProbe can to handle more than 1million flows?
