Unused space used occupied by alerts_v*.db files is reclaimed every day at
midnight localtime. This should shrink the file automatically. The reason for a
huge size of the file can be:
- Very large number of alerts
- Old ntopng version which is not reclaiming space
- ntopng not running at midnight localtime

By the way. It is safe to turn ntopng off and delete the file manually, if you
can afford losing generated alerts.
