I've managed to build and install ntop 1.3.2 on a DEC Alpha
running Tru64. Ntop seems to run fine.....as long as I don't
look at any of the reports in the browser. As soon as I start
clicking on any of the links that report data (as opposed to
the About type links) ntop core dumps, occassionally
accompanied by a stack overflow message.
Has anyone else encountered this behaviour? One of the
things I had to do to build ntop was download an
implementation of snprintf, is it possible (or likely) that the
problem I'm seeing is caused by a poor implementation of
snprintf? If so, has anyone else downloaded snprintf and
got it to work with ntop?
