No need to respond.. I figured out that the Makefile just didn't get setup
properly. Works like a charm after updating the Makefile and getting the 0.6
version of libpcap. Very nice tool..

Subject: Problems with installing ntop
Importance: High

Hi,

Hoping for some quick help. I'm trying to get ntop installed. I had to
install libpcap first, which installed cleanly, then the configure script
asked for gdbm which I also installed, and then the configure script was
clean. I ran make to install it and i'm getting unresolved symbols :

s2001:src/ntop-1.2a9 # ./ntop
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: gdbm_open (code) from ./ntop
Abort(coredump)

How can I fix this ?

Thanks in advance,

Corey
