I can't get ntop to capture any data. When starting with: ntop -d -w 3000 -n
It simply goes back to the prompt and ntop is not loaded. Note: The syslog never shows that the interface entered promiscuous mode. If I start with intop, the syslog shows promiscuous mode, but no data is captured. Libpcap is installed. Tcpdump works. What gives? Red Hat 7.1 with kernel 2.4.12. I tried Ntop 1.3.2 and Ntop 2.0. (got surce and compiled it) Any ideas? Peter Frischknecht Empowering Solutions, Inc.
