Hello all I would like a little clarification on some of the stats produced by NTOP if anyone could offer help:
In the "Info about host" page, in the Host Traffic Stats, are the values cumulative ie: If a machine sends 10MB on day 1 between 1am and 2am, another 35MB on day 2, and 20MB on day 3, does the traffic sent display 65MB? If the answer is no, are the values a "peak" value - would it display 35MB, or would it display today's (day 3) value, 20MB? Is it an average value eg 21.6MB I'm interested in seeing all of the values (peak, average, total and current) in the Host Traffic Stats. Can NTOP be configured for this? Similarly, in the "Protocol Distribution" - is this a peak value, current value, average value, or total value? Also in the Stats/Hosts page, is the "Sent Bandwidth" the total, peak or current?
