Same problem here, running RedHat 7.0. I downloaded libpcap from tcpdump.org, compiled and installed. Downloaded ntop 2001-10-08, compiled and installed.
Whatever parameters I run it with (even just "ntop -i eth0") will make it run fine for 5-10 minutes, then it segfaults. Oh, and another thing, I just remembered: We run a PIX Firewall with address translation. I'm running ntop in my DMZ zone, and we have about 1.000 inside hosts that come through the PIX into the DMZ to browse our own servers. They all have the same mac address (the PIX's mac address), which confuses ntop.
