Subject: [Ntop] ntop and redhat 7.1
Hello List,
I just downloaded and compiled the latest snapshot of ntop... no problem. We I try to run it on the RedHate 7.1 machine with the following command
ntop -w 3000 -i eth0
the web interface starts fine but displays no traffic at all. There are no error messages that creep up either. I remember reading here before about something being broken in Redhat that causes this. It was suggested to use the following filter to fix it
net 0.0.0.0/0
This worked with previous versions of ntop (the previous one I tried was a snapshot of about 2 months ago). I tried this with todays snapshot and it still does not record any traffic. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Martin
