Hi.

Did you get en error during the "make install" step of ntop's
installation ?
I did have an error while installing intop man page because of a
directory not being created : ntop binary workde, but I in fact
missed a big part of the installation. In particular, I did not get
any pics while browsing the web ntop interface.
Creating the missing directory by hand and rerunning the "make
install" finally helped me and get me out of this...
