Unless
you want to make a private, for pay, arrangement, all mail should go to the
list.
Talk to your network
admin and explain the business need for these postings. I've been there,
and I do understand his/her issue, but s/he also has to understand his/her role
is to support the business not impede it.
And yes, I do understand that it becomes difficult for
the network admin. One exception to one list for Bharat becomes two
exceptions for Ramaswamy and six for David, and, and, and... - and it's a pain
to make sure it's business related - Microsoft.beta.this sounds ok, but ... I do
remember one idiot who asked to be allowed to post to an "adult entertainment"
list).
Or,
get a free web-based email account (hotmail, yahoo!, any one of a hundred
accounts are available to you) and post using that. When the boss want's
to know why you are using another vehicle for business use, tell them...
(nicely, you don't want to get the netadmin in TOO much
trouble).

Some points...1. Email to the list, not privately to me. That way EVERYONE can benefit from the discussion.2. If you ask another question, start a new email with a relevant subject line. That way people can see what the question was in the archives.3. Read the list4. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO EXPERIMENT. The WORST that can happen is you crash ntop and lose a little data. If you mung the password database, just whack it and ntop will recreate it on the next run (look for password.db)As to your specific question, see the reply I've just sent, "User restrictions (HOW?) (was something else)", Also see the reply yesterday, "Multiple users - why"-----Burton-----Original Message-----One thing more sir, What is the use of option "URLs" in the "Admin" and how can we utilise it.
