Check the output at the end of the configure step

Now type 'make' or 'gmake' (GNU make) on *BSD and Solaris
systems to build ntop 2.0.0.

If you are using 'make', be sure it's an alias or link to gnu make, not a
Sun version - on my Linux box:

[bstrauss@tigger ntop-current]$ make -v
GNU Make version 3.79.1, by Richard Stallman and Roland McGrath.

You can also run 'make -n' which won't do anything, but prints the internal
commands make is executing...

Subject: [Ntop] Problem with compiling in Solaris 7

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Hello,
I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction. I
have a sparc solaris 7 box that I am trying to install ntop on.
./configure works just fine, but when I do a `make` I get the
following error:

mksh: Fatal error in reader: = missing from replacement macro
reference
Current working directory /download/ntop

I am assuming something is wrong with the Makefile but I don't really
see what is wrong. I have another sparc solaris7 machine that I
installed ntop on and it worked w/o a hitch.

Any ideas?

TIA

Shantu
