I *think* the lines are commented out because most people don't have snmp. The plugins makefiles are less sophisticated than ntops - there isn't a --enable-rmon-plugin switch...
If you uncomment them, it should compile them. You do this either in the .in file or the generated Makefile... -----Burton -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Domski, Samuel Sent: Friday, February 22, 2002 8:47 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Ntop] RMON Plugin doesn't compile Hi All, I have problem compiling RMON support / plugin for NTOP. I downloaded ucd-snmp 4.2.3 and compiled it as per FAQ on RMON. Then I ran configure and make for NTOP, and RMON plugin doesn't get compiled. I also noticed that in the /plugins/Makefile all rmon lines have been commented out. I am missing something, is there another step that needs to be completed to have this plugin work? I am trying to do this on RH 7.2 (no patches) with NTOP source as of 02/15/2002.
