I'm primarily using ntop as a netflow collector/interpreter, I've
noticed it doesn't keep historical data over a 24-hour time period for
individual ip's when using the netflow interface, although it does when
using the ethernet interface fine, is this a future possibility or are
the mechanics of implementation too difficult. Since I'm becoming more
confident in Ntop's stability these days, I'm looking into storing the
data in a MySQL database, I have a couple of questions regarding how
this works? What kind of data does Ntop store in the database, how
finegrained is the data, my guess is this data is raw data that can be
interpretted at a later time via custom scripts, or graphed with
mrtg/rrdtool, not a representation of the data Ntop hashes in memory.

Regards
MIKE
