Hi guys, Downloaded ntop-2.0.99-rc2.tgz and followed the instructions in BUILD-NTOP.txt and the compile went fine. The first problem was a file not found: libpng.so.3 - I cheated here and located the file in the 'ntop' distribution and copied it to /usr/local/lib. That's probably the wrong thing to do but it allowed ntop to run for a while. After ten minutes or so it hung ( presumably when I tried to access a page requiring 'libpng' ), syslog said 'compiled with libpng1.2.1 needs libpng1.0.8' or something similar.
There is a reference on the website in the FAQ to libpng and I tried to follow the instructions without success. I realise this is a bit rambling, I'll supply more specific info if needed.
