The cvs is a continuously rolling version.
SourceForge .tar.gz 's are frozen at a point in time

Note that it's -1 not .1, i.e. 2.1.0-1

Shouldn't this be part of cvs download? I ran cvs and still get 2.1.0.

I've posted ntop-2.1.1.tar.gz.

If you're not having problems, you don't need the new version!

>From the notes I put up on SourceForge:

2.1.1 collects a few minor changes from 2.1 -- mostly configure/compile bugs
in special circumstances.

Specifically:

* Fixed a problem w/ mySQL detection
* Fixed a typo in the in6_addr test
* Added FAQ entry re Win32 html/gif file locations.
* Changed the openSSL test so that it won't accept old (< 0.9.6) versions.

Also:

* Fixed a rare segfault in hash.c on low packet volume situations (hash.c).
* Fixed the -w 0 -W 3001 problem, where ntop was accepting http://
connections on the https:// port # (webInterface.c).
* Fixes for Win32 compiles in plugin.c

*** If you're not having problems, you don't need the new version***
