Under
WinNT/2K/XP ntop is installed as a service
as printed during the installation
(it looks you've clicked too fast on the "next" button without READING !!).

So you need to
start the ntop service !! go to your browser and select http://localhost:3000
Off you
go...
If you need special
parameters to add to ntop then other actions are required, try above
first.
