Hi,
on our small
Sun Enterprise 1 Server (Solaris 2.6) I'm running ntop, but I get after
lets say 30sec an error when ntop processes want to
fork.
Can someone
pls. tell me the background or how to overcome this? Here are some
specific data regarding the host.
If there are
some important parts or configs necessary to analyse the problem pls
tell me and I'll provide it asap.
The server
itself has 128mb ram and a 2.1 gb disk.
If missing
swap space could be the reason - it's in normal mode
# swap

# which
ntop
/usr/local/bin/ntop
and while
running ntop where the error occured I can't even enter some basic
commands:
#
top
bash: fork: Not enough space
bash: fork: Not enough space
# swap
-l

bash: fork: Not enough space
Where could
I extend a specific limit to run ntop
properly?
