Why bother? Mom's got a perfectly functioning Windows PC, adequate to her
needs, and a busted mouse. Now she *could* use Dad's mouse (they have a
PS/2 and USB hooked up because each hates the other's mouse). But she likes
to complain.

What I won't know until I get there is, what ELSE is broken that she hasn't
told me about.

But the tech support costs are a lot higher on Linux than Windows -- Plane
fare isn't cheap... :-)

..heh, hopefully better than ntop.org. Have a nice weekend, ease
her into using linux, it should be ready for her. KDE3 or Gnome2
or some classic vwm? ;-)

Scenarios always come in sets of three:
best case, worst case, and just in case.
