You'll have to recompile the source. If you trace back from the helpfully
named purgeIdleHosts, you'll see that the loop in ntop.c is controled by
myGlobals.enableIdleHosts which is set in globals-core.c around 351. There
isn't a run-time option.

Subject: [Ntop] disable purge inactive hosts

i want to disable this feature, since i am using this in border sniffer mode
(-j) and there is only about 12 hosts in my DMZ, how does one do this? ive
tried the sticky hosts flag and everything else i can think of but for some
reason it just does not work, also is i possible to log to a mysql database
while using border sniffer mode? everytime i try this the ntop configuration
webpage says that its disabled even though i have -b localhost:4000 as a
flag that i pass to the process when it starts.

thanks

eoin
