Take that up with Nicolai, I don't run snapshot, although I do have some
admin rights.

Frankly, as a place for the COMMUNITY to post FAQ entries it's a nice
resource.

It's also acceptable to send them to me for inclusion into the FAQ. If you
do that, please:

1. Format them as a Q&A, with a meaningful Q: line.

2. Format them with line breaks, etc - better chance of getting it in if I
just have to cut & paste.

3. Be sure that they're well thought out and generally applicable -- not
just something that only works if you're running RedHat v6.2.

Burton,
Yes maintaining on one place is sufficient,
but block then the possibility to add items to
the FAQ on snapshot in section administration-FAQ

No, I deliberately deleted the stuff from snapshot after incorporating it
into docs/FAQ.

news item @ snapshot:

12/07 2002 Cleanup here
ntop 2.1 has much of the content (thanks gang) from this site included in
the docs/FAQ and docs/KNOWN_BUGS files. I'll be cleaning up here in the next
few days! -----Burton

It's bad enough maintaining ONE site/file that people won't read, let alone
two...

There is still some overlap because I never finished deleting the old
stuff...

Why the file and not the site? Because it's easier for me. Besides, the
file is distributed WITH ntop's source and executable distributions...
