Could it be done?  Yes (probably) (off the cuff it would need to inject a
"misformed" packet, so that thread would need to run as root, which is a bad
idea ntop wise).

Will it?  I doubt it.  Frankly, there is no conceivable reason to make that
available in a tool generally available to users.  Or do you LIKE having
your sessions blown away and losing hours of work?

ntop is a network monitoring probe and an attached GUI.  It's not a Swiss
army knife network tool. If you want a packet injection tool, then use a
packet injection tool.

i saw some other product, can't remember  (connection-tracking AFAIK) which
can RESET sessions, is it easy such feature to be added to NTOP. (it sends
packet with RST bit set AFAIK)...
I'm talking about NetNetStat.html ...
