I've just downloaded ntop-2.1.53.tgz from the wiretapped.org mirror. It compiled ok and the RRDTool plugin starts up with no problems.

Regards.  Paul

What version of ntop - and were did you get the source from? Be VERY specific.

Reread output from ./configure and be sure that it was able to find all the rrd stuff.

Reread the output from make wrt to rrdPlugin.c

I am a new NTOP user, I've got it compiled and running ok on RedHat 8.0
I would like to be able to produce an RRD webpage showing the
breakdown of my traffic by protocol.

I configured ntp with the following command:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/ntop \
--with-rrd-root=/usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.40

When I start ntop it has the following error message:

28/Dec/2002 22:08:55 WARNING: unable to load plugin
'/usr/local/ntop/lib/ntop/plugins/rrdPlugin.so'
[/usr/local/ntop/lib/ntop/plugins/rrdPlugin.so: undefined symbol:
__pseudoLocalAddress]

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has seen this problem before
or who has any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Many Thanks. Paul
